Who's Eligible For....
"Cos someone has to make sense of Canada's many immigration programs."

Canada has over 100 immigration programs and streams. There are the federal, provincial, and territorial programs. There are programs targeting entrepreneurs, skilled workers, refugees, family members, international students, and more. If we counted all the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams across all the provinces and territories, we probably have over 60 streams combined.
This sounds great in practice. If you’re looking to move to Canada, you would be hard pressed not to find a program that suits you. Theoretically, yes. Practically, it’s not that simple.
The rules and requirements are always changing. Sometimes, without any announcement. The language? Gosh, the language can be so vague that you end up questioning your comprehension skills. It doesn’t help that the immigration application process can be unforgiving.
One mistake, and boom. Rejected. Typed in the most impersonal language possible. And I understand. These officials probably have to send out thousands of those letters or emails everyday. So, they resort to a templated email that leaves you reeling on the other end.
To help reduce the chances of getting these rejection emails, Veronica Sepehr, Founder of Westdale Immigration Consulting, and I are going to try to simplify the process of picking the best program for you through the “Who’s Eligible For” series.
