Staying in the right neighborhood has an impact on your experience in the city.

In today’s newsletter: Gabriela Casineanu says “You aren’t your job title.”

You’re not your job title
One of the many reasons I wanted to chat with Gabriela Casineanu, author of Job Fairs: How to Get the Most of Your Participation, and founder of Introverts Academy is I believe job hunting and the rejection that comes with it turns immigrants into introverts.
She did disagree with my theory. But this was a good conversation on how to focus on what you can control in the job search process. And why immigrating is an opportunity to ask yourself what you really want to do.

A short guide to U.S. talent-based visas
Moving to the U.S. isn’t top of mind for a lot of people. But if you are one of the brave ones, I worked with the folks at Visa Franchise to put together a straight-to-the-point piece on the U.S. talent-based immigration pathways.
The piece breaks down what each visa is, who qualifies, and how they compare to each other.

What am I excited about?
Fiverr just notified me that the first batch of illustrations for the coloring book are ready. I am excited people. Do you wanna see some of them?
I interviewed one of the co-founders of Panda Hub last week. It’s such an amazing story. Just finished drafting it and can’t wait to share it with you all.
That you got to this section of the newsletter. Thank you for all the support. If you find my work useful, please buy me a coffee here.
