And for countries like Canada where referrals can be the difference between a job offer and a frustrating litany of "we regret to inform you that we have decided to proceed with other candidates whose experiences better align with what we are looking for" emails, this can be mightily frustrating.

That's where Nick Noorani, fondly called The Immigrant Godfather, and his merry band at Immigrant Networks come in. They've built a community that provides peer networking opportunities, coaching, and support for newcomers to Canada.
